The 21st Annual Eccles Organ Festival presents
Ghislain Leroy and Romain Leleu
The 21st Season of the Eccles Organ Festival continues Sunday November 9, 2014 at 8:00 pm at The Cathedral of the Madeleine with a recital by the French duo Ghislain Leroy (organ) and Romain Leleu (trumpet).
Hailing from Northern France, and educated in the National Conservatoires Supérieurs de Musique in Paris and Lyon, Ghislain Leroy and Romain Leleu revisit since 2006 the emblematic duo Trumpet and Organ. Artists with a rare musical empathy, with a strong commitment to share the passion for their instruments, they propose in their recitals a large panorama from all epochs and styles.
All performances of the Eccles Organ Festival are open to the public and free of charge.View items...
The London Oratory Schola, a boys' choir from England, will be singing Mass at the Cathedral on Thursday 18 July at 5:15pm as well as a concert on Friday 19 July at 7:30pm. The choir, which has been featured in a number of major motion pictures including The Lord of The Rings, will be going on to sing at three of California's historic Missions during their tour which coincides with the release of their latest recording on the AimHigher label, a collection of sacred music from the Spanish Renaissance entitled Sacred Treasures of Spain. No tickets are required for the concert which is free admission and will last one hour. The concert will include Spanish Renaissance music as well as sacred music from Tudor England.

Tours are held most Sundays at 12:15pm.
